THE STORY BEHIND BKLYN FIGHT CO.

A BROOKLYN BOXER.
A LIFELONG PASSION.
A MISSION TO GIVE BACK.

THE GREATEST VICTORIES AREN'T ALWAYS WON INSIDE THE RING.

OUR FOUNDER

ROOTED IN BROOKLYN.
INSPIRED TO GIVE BACK.

Craig Buffa, founder of BKLYN Fight Co., was born in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, in 1978. He first stepped into a boxing gym at just 13 years old. What began as a young boy's interest in boxing grew into a lifelong passion spanning more than 34 years.

With an amateur record of 26 wins and 3 losses, including three Golden Gloves appearances and a run to the semifinals, he learned firsthand that boxing is about far more than throwing punches. It's about discipline, sacrifice, perseverance, and character.

BUT HIS GREATEST INSPIRATION DIDN'T COME FROM WINNING FIGHTS.

It came from a boxing gym in Cincinnati, Ohio.

While training and competing at North Side Boxing, he met Coach John Falcone and his family—people who dedicated their time, energy, and hearts to helping young boxers.

They weren't looking for recognition, money, or anything in return. They simply believed that boxing could give young people direction, discipline, confidence, and a place to belong. Their commitment left a lasting impression.

Although his boxing career showed promise, his roots remained in Brooklyn. Missing his family, friends, and hometown, he eventually returned home. But he never forgot what he witnessed in Cincinnati.

Years later, that experience became the inspiration behind BKLYN Fight Co.

The mission is simple: create a place where Brooklyn's youth can train, build physical fitness, learn age-appropriate self-defense, develop character, and discover their potential—regardless of their family's financial circumstances.

A place where every child has an opportunity. A place where coaches become mentors. A place where young people learn that success isn't handed to them. It's earned through discipline, hard work, loyalty, and commitment.

“The greatest victory isn't always inside the ring. Sometimes it's the difference you make in someone's life.”

EVERY ROUND MATTERS.
EVERY CHILD MATTERS.
